Flower Mound, TX– Pineapple Counseling, a premier mental health services center, has moved to a new location in Flower Mound, Texas. The move means more space to better serve the current client list and those who need counseling and are looking for a place to go.
The new location is 4320 Windsor Centre Trail STE 500 Flower Mound, TX 75028
“We simply outgrew the space we used to be in. It was a wonderful place and we are sad to move, but we are also excited about moving. Our new offices have more space which means we can do more and serve more people,” said Rachel Falbo, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S.
The neighborhood has also been very welcoming to the new clinic. Dr. Falbo said that played a large role in deciding where to move to once the decision to move was made.
“We looked at several criteria. It had to be a convenient and safe location for our clients first and foremost. We must be accessible and the people who come here must feel comfortable being here. Then, we wanted a neighborhood where the people are friendly and they want us. We found that here,” she said. “Of course, that had to be balanced by available space too. We could not move into a smaller place.”
The name Pineapple Counseling is meant to be a welcoming name. In the 17th Century the then-exotic pineapple became a symbol of hospitality and welcome. In today’s online world, it has also come to mean things are complicated.
“Those are two important traits our center needs to embody. We are a welcoming and safe place for all. We do not judge anyone. We are here to help,” Dr. Falbo said. “At the same time, we realize life is complicated. We can help people make sense of it and navigate their way through this world.”
Pineapple Counseling, provides comprehensive mental health care services, including couples counseling and family counseling. Dr. Falbo emphasized that individuals can conveniently schedule and engage in their counseling sessions from any location through the use of telemedicine. As long as they have an Internet connection, a microphone, and a camera, clients have the flexibility to participate in therapeutic sessions virtually, ensuring accessibility and comfort during their counseling journey.
“We are located physically in Flower Mound in the north part of the DFW metro area in Texas. But we can serve you wherever you are in the world,” she said. “We just have to make sure we can set the right time for both of us to meet online.”
